Neuroscience
University of California, Berkeley
I currently work with the Jagust Lab at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at UC Berkeley as a Research Associate.
As an undergraduate, I worked with the Dynamic Memory Lab (Ranganath Lab) and with the Laboratory for Basic and Translational Cognitive Neuroscience (Luck Lab) as a Research Assistant. I briefly worked as a data input intern at the UC Davis Sleep Lab.
I hope to gain more experience in the field of cognitive neuroscience so I can pursue a Ph.D. in a few years. My main interest is learning & memory, and how factors such as sleep, perception, neurological disorder or neurotransmitter affect this form of cognition.
As for personal goals, I want to give current and future undergraduates the same opportunities that I had over the past few years. In light of this, I created a website, Academic Memories, that holds guides, stories, and opportunities for aspiring researchers by academics.
